This download contains an improved version of the Vado Central software found in your Creative Vado or Vado HD Pocket Video Cam.
Added Features or Enhancements:
* For Vado only:
- Adds support for Windows 7
- Adds "PC folder" tabbed page for easy drag-and-drop of captured videos from Vado to your computer's hard disk.
- Allows capture of up to 30 photo stills during playback
- Allows full-screen playback
- Adds basic video-trimming editing feature
* For Vado HD only:
- Adds support for Windows 7
- Adds a new style for muvee™ plugin
Fixes:
* For Vado HD only: Fixes intermittent occurrences of Vado Central not responding after the "Next video" or "Previous video" buttons are clicked numerous times successively.
Requirements:
* Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2
* USB Port
* Creative Vado or Vado HD Pocket Video Cam
Installation:
1. Connect your Vado or Vado HD Pocket Video Cam to your computer's USB port.
2. Download the file into your local hard disk.
3. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.
Notes:
* Installing the updated Vado Central software will not affect or erase existing videos in your Vado or Vado HD Pocket Video Cam.
* Due to security reasons, Windows 7 disables the AutoPlay feature for non-optical storage devices. Hence, the Vado Central software will not automatically launch when you connect the device to the computer. To run this software:
1. In Windows Explorer, browse to the "Vado" folder of your Vado.
2. Double-click Vado.exe.
