Driver installation files are copied into the following folder by default.
C:\TEMP\CS330_98
Before Installing: You may need to locate your Microsoft Windows 98 CD-ROM while installing the Intel® PC Camera. If prompted for the CD-ROM, and you "skip" the CD-ROM option, your camera may not work properly.

SCENARIO 1: - The Intel PC Camera is not connected into the USB port on the computer.
Plug the Intel PC Camera into your computer’s USB port.
The “Add New Hardware Wizard” will appear, Click Next
Note: If the "Found New Hardware Wizard" does not launch, please use Scenario 2.
Select “Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)” Click Next
Uncheck all other options except “Specify a location”
Type into "text" box the following: "C:\temp\CS330_98" then Click Next
The “Update Device Driver Wizard” will appear, Click Next
Click Finish

SCENARIO 2: - The Intel PC Camera has already been connected into the USB port on the computer. No Drives are found.
Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel
Double-click on System
Click on the Device Manager tab
Locate the entry for the camera
Note: It should appear under the Other Devices category as an Unknown Device
Select the entry from the step above then select "Properties"
Select the Driver tab
Select Update driver button, Click Next.
Select “Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now”
Uncheck all other options except “Specify a location”
Type into "text" box the following: "C:\temp\CS330_98" then Click Next
The “Update Device Driver Wizard” will appear”, Click Next
Click Finish
