This utility updates Picture Motion Browser versions 1.1 through 4.2.00, and Cyber-shot Viewer version 1.0, to Picture Motion Browser version 4.2.10.
Note: Depending on the version currently installed on the computer, it may be necessary to install one or more intermediate updates before installing the version 4.2.10 update. Please see the You May Need This section below.

* Adds the function to create high definition discs in Blu-ray Disc™ format
If you have a Sony AVCHD camcorder, and computer with a Blu-ray Disc burner, you can create high definition videos in Blu-ray Disc format from videos recorded with the Sony AVCHD camcorder by using Picture Motion browser and the Blu-ray Disc Add-on software.
Note: Approximately 50 GB of available disk space may be required to create discs in Blu-ray Disc format.

* Adds support for DXVA 2.0
DXVA (DirectX Video Accelerator) 2.0 considerably enhances the playback performance of AVCHD contents.

* Improves data disc creation
Adds the ability to select images to be burned to disc from the thumbnail screen.

* Adds the PMB Launcher function
PMB Launcher can quickly and easily launch desired functions within the Picture Motion Browser software.
PMB Launcher organizes Picture Motion Browser software functions into the following eight categories: View, Import, Disc Creation, Handycam, Tools, Support, GPS, and Other.

* Resolves an issue where some videos included in a playlist created using the Playlist Disc Creation function may not save correctly with the Handycam Utility in Picture Motion Browser version 3.x.

* Resolves an issue where in certain language versions of Picture Motion Browser version 4.2.00 some labels and descriptions may be in the wrong language.
This issue does not affect the English language version of Picture Motion Browser.
Picture Motion Browser in the following language versions may be affected: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, and Dutch.
The incorrect language descriptions may appear in the "Information Tool", "Handycam Utility", and "One Touch Disc Burn" functions within Picture Motion Browser.
