Wireless Manager application and drivers for GC83 / GC85 PC Card.
Installation instructions
1. Check that you have selected the correct language Wireless Manager for your PC. This must be the same language as your Windows installation; otherwise English is installed.
2. Download the 4.2.7.81_GC83_GC85_EN.zip file to your notebook's hard drive.
3. Make sure that the GC83 / GC85 PC Card is removed from your notebook.
4. Uninstall any previous version of Wireless Manager:
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
2. Find Sony Ericsson Wireless Manager in the list. Click 'Change/remove'. Follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Repeat step b) to remove the Sony Ericsson GC83 / GC85 Wireless Modem.
5. Browse to the location where the 4.2.7.81_GC83_GC85_EN.zip file was stored.
6. Double-click the 4.2.7.81_GC83_GC85_EN.zip file and choose [EXTRACT] to a new/empty folder.
7. Run the “setup.exe” file. The Wizard for the GC83 / GC85 Wireless Manager displays. Follow the on-screen instructions. When installation is complete, click Finish.
8. Fully insert the GC83 / GC85 PC Card (with SIM card) into your notebook PC. A beep signals that your notebook has recognized it.
9. After a few seconds the New Hardware Wizard displays and driver software installation takes place.
