This utility installs an updated version of the VAIO Care Recovery software to resolve the following issues:

  1. When using the "Create Recovery Media" and "Reinstall applications and drivers" features on the VAIO Care 8.3" application, the message "You need to install VAIO Care Recovery to activate the create recovery media function. Would you like to download and install it from VAIO Update?" is displayed.
  2. The "Recover or maintain your system" feature is not displayed after updating to VAIO Care 8.3.
