This utility installs an updated version of the VAIO Movie Creator software to resolve issues were the following messages are displayed when launching the application:
- "VAIO Movie Creator - Performing automatic settings for hardware accelerator. Please wait a while..." or "[Program Menu] Run.. ID:021 [VAIO Movie Creator] move correct?"
Important Notes
- The VAIO Movie Creator Update Program, version 4.2.00.07040 or higher is required before installing this update. If the computer is not updated to the latest version, the message "No software version applicable to this update is installed. The update will be cancelled" will be displayed. A link to the required file is available in the You May Need This section.
- If the VAIO Movie Creator opens when installing this update, please close the application.
- This application is not applicable for the Fresh Start or Microsoft Signature computers.
