This utility installs an updated version of the VAIO Update software to resolve the following issues:
- The VAIO Update application may become unresponsive.
- The computer will no longer Logoff, Restart, or Shutdown during the installation of a patch.
- The install utility menu is hidden behind the VAIO Update application.
- No updates are shown when using a proxy.
- Improves the performance of the VAIO Update application.
- Adds Self-repair functionality.
- Text within the application may appear to be cut off.
- Notifies the Windows Store App of updates in the VAIO Update application.
- Improves compatibility with the operating system.
