This download includes a Print Driver only. This driver makes it possible to use the basic functions for the printer and can be used until the full-feature driver is available.

A full feature software solution will be coming early 2007. It will be available as a separate download named "HP Photosmart Pro B8300 Full Feature Software and Drivers".

Installation Instructions

1. Click the Download Only button.
2. When a new pop-up window appears, click on the Save Only button.
3. Save the file in a desired location, perhaps a user-created C:/print software/ directory.
4. At the end of saving the file, run the file or go to the directory where the file was saved in order to run it. If security warnings are received, they may be caused by settings in the computer. Continue to run the file.
5. An explorer window pointing to the extracted files location will be opened.
6. Point to this location when windows prompt for the drivers files or if you are searching for drivers files when doing an AddPrinter from the Printers folder.
