The ImageMixer™ for HDD Camcorder software supplied with the camcorder is not compatible with Microsoft® Windows Vista® operating system. Sony is offering Picture Motion Browser version 2.0.11 software as an alternative to use with the camcorder and Windows Vista operating system.

Features of Picture Motion Browser version 2.0.11 software:

* One Touch Disc Burn function to easily create a DVD disc.
* Easy PC Back-up function to import images from the hard disk of the camcorder to the computer.
* Calendar view to view and manage imported images by date.
* Video Trimming function to cut a movie into segments or to save a scene as a still image.
* Video Disc Copier to make a copy of a previously created disc.

Notes on using Picture Motion Browser version 2.0.11 software instead of ImageMixer for HDD Camcorder software:

* The back-up history information used by the One Touch DVD Burn function, and the Easy PC Back-up function, in ImageMixer for HDD Camcorder is not retained for Picture Motion Browser software. All images on the hard disk of the camcorder are saved when you first use the equivalent functions in Picture Motion Browser software.
* Images on a DVD disc created with ImageMixer for HDD Camcorder software cannot be imported to Picture Motion Browser software.
* The function to convert the audio format from Dolby® Digital to MPEG Audio is not available in Picture Motion Browser software.

Important Notes

* If ImageMixer for HDD Camcorder software is installed on the computer, it is necessary to uninstall it before installing the Picture Motion Browser software.
* This software can only be downloaded and installed using a computer with Microsoft® Windows Vista® operating system.
* To access this software download you will need the following information: the camcorder model number, the camcorder serial number, and the part number from the software installation CD-ROM supplied with the camcorder.
* Starter and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista operating system are not supported.
* Installing this software requires at least 600MB free space on the computer hard drive.
* The original software installation CD-ROM supplied with the camcorder is required to complete the installation of this software.
* During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
* To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
* It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
