About the Printer Driver for Windows 2000 Professional/XP Home Edition/XP Professional

If the USB Driver was not installed with the supplied setup program, follow the steps below:

1. Start Windows 2000 Professional/XP Home Edition/XP Professional, and log on your computer as the user name of "Administrator. "
2. Turn on the printer and then connect the printer and the computer with their USB ports.
3. Open "Control Panel" from "My Computer."
4. Double-click "System" in the "Control Panel" window.
5. Click the "Hardware" tab and then click the "Device Manger" button.
6. Double-click "USB Printing Support" under the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" to open the "USB Printing Support Properties" window.
7. Click the "Driver" tab and then click the "Update Driver" button.
8. Click "Next."
9. Check "Search for a suitable driver for my device" and then click "Next."
10. Check "CD-ROM Drive" and click "Next."
11. Check "Next."
12. Check "Finish."

If the "USB Printing Support" is changed to "Sony DPP-SV77 USB Digital Photo Printer," the installation is successful.
